My name is Liz behind Misty's Thread Studio. I have been sewing/quilting for over 25 years. In 2021, I made a backpack for my niece who was expecting. I made a diaper backpack. She loved it. I knew then that I wanted to make bags and accessories.
The name Misty is the name of my cat. We were together for 22 years until 2019. When I decided to pursue bag making, I wanted a business name that means something. I prayed on it and after a half-dozen names I thought would work for a business name, Misty's Thread Studio was my answer.
